NH Marriage Licensing
Couples who wish to get married in the State of New Hampshire
must file for a marriage license in NH. Marriage is the legally recognized union of two people. Any person who otherwise meets the eligibility requirements under State Statute (Chapter 457) may marry any other eligible person regardless of gender.
Where to file & Purchase a License
Both local residents and those from out-of-state can & apply for & purchase a license in the office of any town or city clerk in the state of New Hampshire. You will both need identification to confirm date of birth.
(example: driver's license, passport, certified birth certificate).
If applicable by law you will need to provide certified copies of divorce and/or death certificates for any previous marriages or civil unions pertaining to and/
or both individuals filing for the license.
The license fee will be $50.00, you can request the town clerk to send you a copy of the filed license after they do so, for an additional fee.
The license is good for 90 days from the date issued and the ceremony
can be performed in any New Hampshire town or city.
Waiting period
There is no waiting period in New Hampshire.
The license becomes valid for use upon issuance.
I will process license return it via USMail to the city/town clerk of origin.
Once the license is received by the town and recorded, you can
pick up a copy of the License from the clerk's office, or it
will be mailed to you if it was requested at time of purchase.

The Executive Court Banquet Facility
is nestled on 18 acres of wonderfully landscaped grounds serving
as a spectacular backdrop for the perfect photo session of your event.
Brookline Chapel
Brookline Chapel - 36 Main St (Route 130) in Brookline This
chapel can be rented for a very reasonable rate around $125.00. Seats
up to 100 guests. This does not include JP service or ceremony fee. For
any questions related to booking Brookline Chapel for your special day, you
first need to contact Rena Duncklee (Brookline Town Administrator)
at (603) 673- 8855 x 214 ( 8 AM to 2 PM ).
I do not have access to the Brookline Chapel's booking calendar.
If you'd like to have an small personal outside ceremony with a couple quests the
Chapel grounds can be used prior to contacting the Chapel
to be sure no oher functions are tacking place on the same day.
